Norguard Custom Playing Card Game based on popular graphic novel
One of the most impressive and enormously successful custom playing card games that we make is the Norguard Card Game. Based on “Across Thin Ice”, the first of the Nordguard graphic novels, the game reflects the story line. Pi and her team of sled dogs, who are a part of the Nordguard elite, head out into the north on a precarious rescue journey. Encountering hazards like thin ice, bandits, and unpredictable weather conditions are some of the things that they can and must handle in their mission. The story takes place at the turn of the twentieth century and is based on the real Norguard.
When permanent outposts began to develop in the northern territories, group call the Nordguard (lead by an explorer name Albert Kerstof) began with a single dog team around 1860. Their mission was to keep trails open, to open new routes and to deliver mail between the outposts. Eventually – at the time of the story – the Nordguard grew into an elite and dedicated search and rescue operation with the motto: Always Running, Never Tiring So That Others May Live.
The Nordguard Card Game contains 130 exquisitely designed custom game cards which were printed on high quality casino grade stock with a smooth gloss finish. The game also contains instructions, 4 custom six-sided dice and a custom printed oversized tuck box to contain the 130 full color game cards.
