Guess who’s printing the Amanda F Palmer Tarot Cards!

There was so much incredible art for the deck that it HAD to get made.
With the arrival of crowdfunding, it made getting the deck printed up a realistic goal.
So Amy Lanteigne and I approached Amanda about it and she was all for it! Amanda has given us nothing but support all the way through. She’s been very generous!

So the nuts and bolts had to be covered. The deck needed to be filled out with artists and we had to get proper licensing agreements with all of them. One of the things we are very proud of is that the artists are getting a royalty for their artwork being used. With 78 artists splitting it, it’s not a fortune but it is very important that they get paid for their work! That’s why everyone should get a deck! The more sold, the more the artists are going to get paid.

So, my motivation was was getting the deck completed and printed so the art would get out into the world and getting the artists paid for their work all while having a great time celebrating the inspiration Amanda gives us all!

This deck is a true collaboration of artists and support people that have come together and helped it along the way!”

Then I told my new artist Nicole about the deck – and it turns out she was going to see Amanda live!

here is her review of the show in NYC

We were a block away from the Lincoln Center in Brooklyn, NY when we
started to hear Amanda Palmer’s opening act announcing the star to the
stage.  Of course, we sped up to almost a run.  My best friend and I
shoved our way past hundreds of screaming fans and cameras that were
filming us live and we finally ended up in the second row.  This was the
closest I’ve ever been to anyone famous.  She was so close to us, I
noticed all of the details in her hair, her shirt, and her amazing boots.
Amanda performed all of my favorites, such as Killing Type and Astronaut.
What really made the crowd lose their minds, though, was when she
performed the cover of Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit.  I believe this
was the same song when Amanda jumped off stage and danced with the crowd.
She was only a few feet away!  It gets even better.  Everyone’s fear of
60% thunderstorms during an outdoor event was finally put to rest.  We
were relieved to find not a drizzle had fallen.  Amanda Palmer entertained
and inspired more than what my highest expectation could have ever been.
