Tabletop Deathmatch

Just wanted to give a heads up on episode 1 of the tabletop death match.  Episode one is airing now and I am a bit relieved that I didn’t appear to say anything too dumb.  I actually really enjoyed this episode – and I remember being in Indianapolis filming it like it was yesterday and thinking what a very cool idea it was.  I met so many interesting people and had a really good time being a part of it all.  Here is episode 1 below in case you want to watch it.  I have a little blurb right after 11:23.  🙂  Yes, I am giving you an exact location.  I do not apologize for being really excited about this.

I would just like to say that I am probably the least experienced “gamer” in that – at that time – I was not playing too many games – busy as I usually am manufacturing them – but I have been making time to play more games over these past 8 months  in an honest effort to understand my clients better – and also to have a little more fun.  I feel like I have learned quite a bit about the needs of tabletop game inventors and I hope to be a good sounding board and resource for them – especially those who choose to go the Indie route.  Pax is this weekend and we are really excited about bringing some games with us to demo in Tabletop – stop by and tell us you read this blog and we will give you some cool swag  – we are bringing a lot of swag with us.  The games we are bringing are games that have either successfully kickstarted or are in the process of being demoed – kickstarted, manufactured or distributed.  Some of these are:

WHAT THE FOOD

SLASH

GAME OF 49

HAVOC BOARD GAMES

ORE THE MINING GAME

EPIC PICNIC

WHAT OH

APOLCALYPZE

GOTHIC DOCTOR

and two by game designer Joe Andrews  – DOWN AND OUT AND JACK ATTACK – which are sponsored by Shari’s Games – a little part of Ad Magic which is developing a few games for a few inventors.  If you want to stop by and demo some of these games you can find us near the food 🙂 in tabletop.
